New, Open, Save

Plate projects live as .plate files. Press ⌘⌥⇧N for a new project, ⌘O to open one, ⌘S to save, ⌘⇧S for Save As, and ⌘⌥⇧S for Increment and Save. All five also live under the File menu.

New projects start from Plate’s default comp dimensions — size, frame rate, and duration are all changeable afterward from Composition Settings.
