Levels

Remaps input brightness values to a new output range, with a gamma curve in between. The classic tool for tonal correction.

Channel picks which color channel to adjust — RGB for all channels at once, or Red / Green / Blue / Alpha individually.

Input Black and Input White define the input range. Pixels at or below Input Black become fully black; pixels at or above Input White become fully white; everything in between is mapped linearly.

Gamma adjusts the midtones of the input range without touching the endpoints.

Output Black and Output White compress the final output into a narrower range — set Output Black above 0 to lift the blacks, or Output White below 255 to lower the whites.
