Timeline & Graph Editor
The timeline shows your composition along a horizontal time axis. Every layer appears as a bar spanning its in and out points; every keyframe appears as a diamond on a track below the bar. The playhead is the vertical line that marks the current time — scrub it, play from it, or snap to keyframes.
The Graph Editor is a different view of the same data. Where the timeline shows keyframes as discrete points in time, the graph editor shows the curve each property draws between them, so you can shape velocity and easing precisely. Press G to flip between the two views.
