Graph Editor
The Graph Editor is a view of the timeline that shows each property’s value as a curve over time, rather than discrete keyframes on a track. Press G in the Timeline to toggle between the two views.
Each keyframe becomes a point on the curve with two handles. Drag them to shape the acceleration and deceleration leading into and out of the keyframe. Hold modifier keys while dragging:
- ⇧ — constrain Y so the keyframe’s value doesn’t shift.
- ⌥ — break the pair between a keyframe’s two handles.
- ⌥ again — mirror the opposite handle’s length.
⌥-click a keyframe to cycle its interpolation (Eased → Hold → Linear).
Zoom the time axis with ⌥+scroll, pan with ⇧+scroll or Space+drag.
Box-select keyframes by clicking and dragging across them. ⇧+drag extends the selection.
The Auto-zoom graph height toggle in the bottom-right of the editor controls whether the graph automatically fits its height to the visible keyframes.
