Composition Settings

The project’s core dimensions — size, frame rate, duration, name, and background color — all in one dialog. Open with ⌘K or open by clicking the gear icon on the bottom right of the comp window.

Frame rate has presets (24 / 25 / 30 / 60) plus a custom field. Changing it rescales duration so the comp stays the same length in seconds. Size has a link toggle that keeps width and height proportional while you drag either.

Duration is displayed in frames — increasing or decreasing the number adjusts the length of your composition.
